Pants Law
Virginia's House passed a bill that will fine people $50 for wearing low-slung pants that exposes their underwear in a "lewd or indecent manner." The main guy who opposed it threw in some foolish racial overtones, saying that it unfairly targeted blacks. I don't really care who it will mainly affect, I just think it's an idiotic law. Does the State of Virginia have no more pressing issues than dictating how its populace should wear their pants? Do they think this is something in which they should even be meddling? This is an area where the law does not belong. Leave the pants alone.
