Nobel Green Prize

Filed under: General — Dangerous Dan @ 9:03 am

The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to a woman whose main activity is planting trees. Ummm, hello? Peace prize? It seems that green concerns are starting to leak into the committee's award decision. If that's the case, then one thing's for sure: Greenpeace must be pissed. Overlooked again!

Update: Pete the Elder also comments on the Nobels as does Powerline which notes that the prize for literature was awarded to a playwright who's an Austrian commie and who isn't even liked in Austria. She did, however, write a play denouncing the war in the Iraq. Ah! So that's where war protest vote came in this year. Next year, expect the prize to go to Michael Moore. Oh, and note to scientists… you are guaranteed a Nobel prize in your respective field if you can scientifically prove the Iraq war was a bad idea.
